As an authorized PECB partner, Certikon has selected a small portfolio of courses which we see as some of the most in-demand and, in additon, internationally recognized certification courses for 2026, chosen from PECB’s more than 230 certification courses. The courses below are being offered a self-study courses (see section "Self-study" for information).

Certikon’s selected Self-study courses cover key professional areas such as information security, cybersecurity, risk management, privacy, business continuity, AI governance and management systems – all relevant to current and upcoming requirements in the business sector, often driven by recent EU regulations such as DORA, NIS2, AIA, CRA, CER, GDPR or other regulation.

All courses are in English and offered as online self-study, providing the flexibility to complete the course on individual terms. Some courses are also offered in Spanish and French.

ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer - estimated at full 5 study days

Trains you to plan, implement, and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001. Focus on practical methods, project management, and organizational anchoring.  


ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor - estimated at full 5 study days

Provides competencies to plan and conduct internal and external ISMS audits. Covers audit principles, evidence collection, and reporting according to ISO 19011. 


ISO/IEC 27002 Lead Manager - estimated at full 5 study days

Focuses on managing, implementing, and evaluating security controls based on ISO/IEC 27002. Helps leaders translate controls into concrete processes.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)  

PECB AI Risk Manager - estimated at full 5 study days

This course provides a solid understanding of risk management in AI systems, including security, bias, robustness and governance. Participants will learn to identify, analyze and address AI-related risks in accordance with international frameworks. The course is ideal for organizations seeking responsible and controlled AI implementation.


PECB Certified AI Professional - CAIP - estimated at full 5 study days

CAIP provides a broad introduction to AI technologies, their applications, and the organizational requirements for responsible use. The course combines technical understanding with governance principles to enable participants to assess AI projects at a strategic level. It is aimed at professionals who will work with AI in practice, without necessarily being developers.

ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer - estimated at full 5 study days

This course trains participants to plan, implement and maintain an AI management system (AIMS) based on ISO/IEC 42001. The focus is on risk management, controls, governance and organizational integration of AI. The course is aimed at those who will lead AI implementations or ensure compliance with the standard.


ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor - estimated at full 5 study days

This course qualifies participants to plan, conduct and report on audits of AI management systems (AIMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001. The focus is on audit principles, evidence gathering, risk-based assessment, objectivity, reporting and managing audit programs. The course is aimed at those who will lead internal or external audits, or who wish to obtain professional auditor certification in AI governance and compliance.


Leadership, Frameworks and Regulation

CISO - Chief Information Security Officer) - estimated at full 5 study days

An advanced leadership program for future and current CISOs. The course covers strategy, governance, risk management and security programs and is based on recognized frameworks for risk management and security. The course is built on a CISO framework that is followed throughout all 4 days of training. The course is provided by a former CISO.


ISO/IEC 27002 Lead Manager - estimated at full 5 study days

Provides advanced skills in managing and optimizing a control environment based on ISO/IEC 27002. The course is targeted at security managers and governance roles and is directed towards the operational part of the control environment (Annex A of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard).


ISO/IEC 27005 Risk Manager - estimated at full 3 study days
